Here is the First  Annual Afghanistan 4th of July Veranda party! We had a great turn out and theres was scrumptious food and hillarious company.  We went well into the night: 2000hrs even.  It was a nice moral lift for everyone.  And, fireworks started at 0100-0140hrs, compliments of the taliban. So all in all a memorable holiday for all.

We started the 4th of July with a Gator parade! Eight entries in all.  There were some pretty clever float designers, turning Amry gators into float entries!  Rose Parade has nothing on these soldiers!
