I made it back from Ft Hunter Liggett to enjoy a bit of down time with my family. The training was pretty intense, including a lot of ruck marches and weapon cleaning! We were very fortunate to have high quality instructors who have dedicated themselves to preparring every soldier for deployment. i am very grateful for every minute and every lesson they shared with us. And although we were all very tired, sore and weary, we became a close-knit unit that is preparred to do our mission
Now, am preparring to leave for Ft Lewis where our training will continue My 10 days at home have flown by and seems less time was available for everyone - wanted to see or to do everything I wanted to do! But, time enought to enjoy some good food, relax a bit and appreciate my home and family!
I hope to be better about posting in the future....of course it depends on having access to the internet! thans to everyone for the well wishes and prayers and I offer up the same to all of you as well!
Michell
